27 листопада 2025 року на кафедрі автомобільного транспорту та галузевого машинобудування в онлайн-форматі було проведено гостьову лекцію на тему: “Alternative fuels to prevent atmospheric pollution and reduce emissions”.
Лектор: Анатолій Костянтинович ДЗИГАР (Anatolii Dzyhar) – instructor-trainer з Marine Fuel Management, Training Centre Marlow Navigation Company Cyprus, Chief Engineer onboard ships, механік I розряду з багаторічним міжнародним досвідом роботи на танкерах та спеціалізованих суднах.
До заходу долучилися здобувачі освіти та науково-педагогічні працівники:
- Національного університету «Чернігівська політехніка»,
- Faculty of Special Technology of Alexander Dubček University in Trenčín (Trenčín, Slovak Republic),
- Одеського національного морського університету.
Лекція справила надзвичайно позитивне враження та стала актуальним і змістовним заходом, особливо з огляду на сучасні екологічні виклики та тенденції сталого розвитку транспорту.
Анатолій Костянтинович ґрунтовно висвітлив: причини необхідності переходу на екологічно чисті енергоносії; порівняльні характеристики традиційних та альтернативних видів палива (біопаливо, водень, природний газ, синтетичні палива, електроенергія); вплив цих технологій на скорочення викидів CO₂, NOₓ та твердих частинок; реальні приклади впровадження альтернативних видів палива в автомобільному, морському та авіаційному транспорті; міжнародні тенденції декарбонізації транспорту та вимоги до судноплавних компаній у контексті «зеленої» трансформації.
Особливо цінним було те, що лектор підкреслив не лише переваги альтернативних джерел енергії, але й наявні технічні, економічні та інфраструктурні обмеження, що дозволило сформувати об’єктивне бачення перспектив розвитку транспортної галузі.
Аудиторія проявила високий інтерес до теми: учасники активно ставили практичні запитання щодо реального досвіду експлуатації суден, вимог до екіпажу, особливостей переходу на альтернативні види палива та управління ризиками. Відповіді лектора відзначалися професіоналізмом, глибиною та практичною спрямованістю.
Щиро дякуємо Анатолію Костянтиновичу Дзигару за професіоналізм, змістовність, життєві приклади та натхнення, яке спонукає не лише замислитися, а й діяти! Це була цінна та надихаюча лекція для всіх, хто пов’язує своє майбутнє з транспортною галуззю та прагне до сталого, екологічно відповідального розвитку.

On November 27, 2025, the Department of Road Transport and Industrial Engineering held an online guest lecture on the topic:
“Alternative fuels to prevent atmospheric pollution and reduce emissions.”
Lecturer: Anatolii Kostyantynovych DZYHAR – Instructor-trainer in Marine Fuel Management, Training Centre of Marlow Navigation Company (Cyprus), Chief Engineer onboard ships, First-Class Mechanic with many years of international experience working on tankers and specialised vessels.
The event was attended by students and academic staff of:
– National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic”;
– Faculty of Special Technology of Alexander Dubček University in Trenčín (Trenčín, Slovak Republic);
– Odesa National Maritime University.
The lecture made an extremely positive impression and proved to be a highly relevant and informative event, particularly considering modern environmental challenges and trends in sustainable transport development.
Anatolii Kostyantynovych thoroughly highlighted:
– the reasons for the necessity of transitioning to environmentally friendly energy sources;
– comparative characteristics of conventional and alternative fuels (biofuel, hydrogen, natural gas, synthetic fuels, electricity);
– the impact of these technologies on reducing CO₂, NOₓ and particulate matter emissions;
– real-world examples of the implementation of alternative fuels in road, maritime, and air transport;
– international decarbonisation trends in transport and requirements for shipping companies in the context of “green” transformation.
What was especially valuable is that the lecturer emphasised not only the advantages of alternative energy sources but also existing technical, economic, and infrastructural limitations, which allowed the audience to develop an objective understanding of the prospects for the transport sector.
The audience showed high interest in the topic: participants actively asked practical questions concerning real experience in vessel operation, crew requirements, specifics of switching to alternative fuels, and risk management. The lecturer’s answers were characterised by professionalism, depth, and practical orientation.
